Hi All,
I have a slight dilemma - I went to Gold Cup (horse races) over the weekend and it was very nasty weather. I had on a white skirt which would have never made it through the day. An acquaintance who was hosting the pre-party and coincidentally was my size gave me a pair of black satin pants to wear instead.  While I returned them in good condition (I had a rain poncho on all day at the races), I feel like I want to have them dry-cleaned.  She politely refused (we live very far apart). So I am dropping her a note to thank her again and was going to include some sort of compensation.  I think a $20 is tacky.  Thoughts?  What should I do?
Thanks - and sorry I've been so MIA - tough days at work!!

That's very sweet of you. I agree that a small bouquet of flowers or small gift card would be perfect.
