She chewed/ripped up my $20!!!! that's all I had to my name until my husband gets home tonight and I was going to buy water and cat food with that. Just had to vent!!!
Don't worry, my Maddy stole $100 bill from BFs wallet and we both ran around the house chasing after her. She only bit the corner off of it though . . . but she gave us a run for our money!!
luckylily- thanks for pointing that out and having me laugh!
XtinaStyles- she pretty much shredded it into small pieces. I tried putting it together without tape just to see how bad it is.... and there's actually a piece missing here and there. My little dog eats anything she can get her mouth on! I think she's half pig......
now I gotta deal with the husband giving me sh** for what "my" dog did! (she's been getting on his nerves lately)
Poor Tati! One of my dogs is a major eater, too. Actually, one chews but doesn't swallow and the other pretty much just swallows things whole. His favorite things to eat are socks. He doesn't even chew them -- just gulps. My dad's dog once ate an entire Converse shoe. I can't believe it was your little one, though!

But, c'mon, there's seriously some humor in the dog eating the cat food money!

That sucks! It's a good thing they're so cute or nobody would want one! My "baby" ripped out my carpet in my bedroom. I was letting him stay in my room all day when I was at work and I had the air conditioning guy come to fix my air conditioning. This must have really angered him because he he completely ripped up the carpet, right down to the floor underneath. Then he threw up pieces of the carpetu all over my room.
Ugh, how annoying. But you are not alone. My brother's dog does this. He loves to chew leather wallets as well as the money inside. Think about the aroma that money must have to a dog...all those hands and whatever else that has touched it . And once they have a taste for it, you will really have to keep your money out of the dogs reach.

Oh Tati, sorry to hear that. I think my dog Chewbacca loves $$$ too--he ate 3 Gucci wallets & a Kate Spade (which I only had for 2 days) trying to get to the cash. Plus, he ate 5 pairs of shoes in <24 hours. At least I know he has great taste.

Halley did this the first time we left her alone in our new house.
