Anyone have the JCrew beach dress?

I ordered this today and am wondering if I could dress it up for a wedding this weekend - thought it could be fun for their Cinco de Mayo event (bright and festive!) but am curious if it is going to look too casual IRL (b/c the material is cotton).  It looks like I could dress it up from the pic, but I am not sure.

Oh, and if I do wear it, what do you think about bronze sandals?  Other shoe suggestions?

I have that dress in espresso.  I love it!

If the wedding you are attending is Cinco de Mayo themed you should be fine!  Just make sure to dress it up with accessories.  Bronze sandals sound great, perhaps a pashmina as well?

i have that dress in a cornflower blue in the button-back style.  i think it can definitely be dressed up.  i plan on wearing mine to a wedding in england in august!
