Personally I love Birkenstocks.  I like this particular style too.  So I say yes unless they are too casual for where you are working.

I don't like Birks, but I think that sometimes you have to choose comfort and practicality over style.  So, I say get them.

 ditto. Especially if you're running after kids all day! But since I'm not a huge birkenstock fan, I'd like them better if you were wearing jeans rather than shorts, because then you'd only see the front part.
