So yesterday we were all talking and she commented on how I always dress up for work. I replied that I don't, really (I was in jeans, anthro top, and cardigan...normal weekend wear for me). And she was like...."well, you'd never wear this to work" (pointing at her own outfit).

My response?


"I wouldn't wear that anywhere."

It just slipped out....and sounded totally not how I meant it. Luckily she started cracking up. And I apologized profusely.

It was pretty funny though.

mom jeans
boxy print tee (you know...the unisex kind of tee)
open flannel button down
open puffer vest (not fitted and a size too big)


not my style, but it fits her personality.
