Tinted moisturizer

I am looking for a new t.m. I have been using the Stila tinted moisturizer and would like to try something with a bit more coverage. I have normal to oily skin. I also have slight redness around my nose. I am interested in trying the Laura Mercier t.m, but wanted some input.

I just started using Laura Mercier's TM. I have normal to oily skin also. If the redness is slight, it should evenn it out. I really love this stuff for most every day. Unless I'm having some weird, massive breakout or dark circles (seldom), I use LMTM daily. Occasionally, I'll apply some regular foundation with a brush on blemishes or extra-ruddy patches under the tinted moisturizer. It's quite versitle and very light feeling. Love the texture and the convenience of it.

Instead of buying a tinted moisturizer I just mix a couple squirts of my liquid foundation with my regular moisturizer and voila, tinted moisturizer!

I dont want to mix my moisturizer with foundation. (although it would be cheaper)  Pollyjean, what TM were you using before? You think the Laura M. TM has enough coverage to even out skin w/o foundation? (I know thats hard to answer without knowing what my skin looks like...)  Thanks!

i'm using laura mercier's TM right now. i can't attest to how it stacks up against other TMs, but it's perfect for me. i've had tiny burst capillaries on my cheeks since childhood (i always look like i'm blushing), and it provides great coverage. highly recommend!

Thanks Squishy. Ive been wanting to try it. However in my neighborhood, the only place that carries it is Macys. When I went there to get some help with it, no one was at the counter! And, I'm not about to do everything myself...I just hate that. Maybe I'll try to find somewhere else that actually has customer service! furious

I use the Lorac Protect tint in SPF 30. It gives pretty decent coverage. Although I must say, I have really oily skin and it sure doesn't help with that....

Sounds like we have similar skin. I love the Laura Mercier t.m.! I heard that they are going to be selling it in Sephora this summer (they might already have it, I havent checked)! I will have to remember to check when I go to look for Care by Stella McCatney 5 benefits moisturizing cream (I saw it in More and now I have to have it)!!

Another thing: Now that it's getting close to summer, my oily forehead is starting to become a problem. I bought a light mattifier from Origins (Zero Oil) to put under my LMTM. It smells very light, feels great (not gritty), and works instantly and persistantly.
