Thoughts on Tunics
Permalink Closed

Wanted to know your opinions on tunics...do you think they'll be around for a while?  They seem to be everywhere now.  I got this one from Arden b - but I'm not sure if it was worth $68...I think someone else here got this too.  Do you think it's a keeper?

Hmm... can't see the pic.  However, I think tunics are a do, as long as you can wear it well.

If it's this one

I have it and I love it! It's very comfortable. I think it's worth the price. I think it's some thing you can wear into the fall.

That is so annoying!  Why isn't the picture showing up?  You can see it, if you copy the link... http://www.ardenb.com/style/38011535248.jpg

Really cute!

I like tunics! It's hard to say exactly how long they'll be "in" for, but I'm a fan. It looks nice!

I have been wearing tunics for a looooong time and will continue to wear them. They balance out certain styles (cropped pants, bermudas, skinny jeans, etc).

I like tunics with pants but I kinda started feeling there are not enough shorter tops for skirts now. I bet at some point, either fall or winter, they will have a rebound, meaning lots of lots of short tops instead of tunics.

Yep, that's the one I got.  I don't know why I had such trouble positing the pic.
I have a bachlorette (spelling ?) party to go to this weekend -  I was thinking of wearing it with skinny jeans and a cute clutch...Besides skinny jeans, what else would you wear this type of tunic with.  Thanks for all the help smile

I like tunics and I believe they will be around for a long time. I'll wear them with just about everything. I think the top would look nice with some pretty capris and sandals.

I far prefer longer tops to shorter ones. Short tops look chintzier. However, I agree w/ Crimson that the pendulum will no doubt swing again.

The top is adorable and should look great with anything slim and trim on the bottom. The jeans/clutch sound great; perhaps try some narrow ankle-length slacks with heeled sandals/mules.
