I have this dress pattern and am wondering what fabric to use to make the dress.  The style I am wanting to make is the dress on the left which is shown in black and white.

I was thinking of using navy instead of black and using the white on the bodice like it is shown in the pic, but I am open to almost any fabric suggestions (floral, geometric, etc.) if you can think of something better or totally different.  Thanks.

Is the yellow floral dress, (in the middle top left) the same pattern? I really like that style.

What about mixing a pattern with solid?

This dress was featured on Bluefly today and reminds me of your pattern a little.

Bluefly Mod Dress

You could make your dress heather grey with contrasting white. It would look really pretty with bright, primary colored accessories for the summer and jewel-toned accessories and tights for the fall.
