What do you wear on flights when you travel?

I am trying to plan for my upcoming vacation and trying to decide what to wear on my flight.  What do y'all wear when you fly?

I like to be ultra comfortable when I fly. I usually wear lounge pants, a long tank top, and a fitted hoodie.

Comfort is obviously key during a long flight. I like cotton wrap dresses, and I always have a little blanket to keep me warm anyway so I can cover up with that if I want to sit in a comfortable but less-than-ladylike position

I also have to be wearing socks on flights. I don't know what it is, but my feed always FREEZE if I'm not wearing heavy duty socks.

Depends what my destination is and the length of my flight.  If it's a short flight, I'll just wear jeans and a top.  If it's a long flight and it'll be nighttime/chilly when I land, I wear my Juicy tracksuit w/ a tshirt under the hoodie and sneakers.  If it's a long flight and will be warm when I land, I wear cargo pants and a cute top and sneakers (and stuff the Juicy hoddie in my carry on in case the plane is cold).

I usually wear a pair of jeans with a few layers on top -- I want to be comfortable but I often like to be dressed pretty nicely wherever I land when I get off the plane. Skirts/dresses aren't good for me, though, because sometimes the seat feels itchy on my bare legs (and pantyhose are definitely not comfortable!). I bring along my LL Bean travel down blanket / pillow for long flights. For me the key is slip-on shoes and a pair of socks.

For casual summer vacations, I like to travel in my favorite JCrew denim skirt, tee and slides.  The slides are easy to kick off when going through security, and my denim skirt is indestructible - never rumples, wrinkles, etc...  Then I always take a hoodie, sweater or long sleeve t, because I freeze on flights.  If it's a long flight, I bring socks too.

I love the idea of a wrap dress - I have a bunch of jersey ones that are wrinkle proof (can you tell that I hate to be wrinkled? smile).  I am going to try that for my next trip!

I am kind of old school with flight attire. When I was growing up my grandfather worked for delta so we always got bumped up to first class. But they wouldnt bump us unless we were "dressed up".
So I tend to dress up for flights unless I am flying international and even then I dont wear sweats, I usually wear flats and jeans and a few layered tops.

I just did two trancon flights this weekend (LA to Orlando).

I wore a Rachel Pally dress with a wifebeater underneath and Tory Burch Revas on the first flight. This was perfect...I had a family dinner right off the plane and my outfit was appropriate and not travel-worn.

I just came back and wore a fitted tee, wifebeater underneath, Charlotte Beach pants (it was way humid in FL) and flips...I wish I'd had some warmer socks on the plane because I ended up getting an exit row seat. I also carried a light wool print scarf which was a LIFESAVER since I used it as a blanket and to keep my feet a bit warmer.

During the winter, I wear a cashmere sweater with beater and yoga pants and ballet flats.

I too just got back from flying.

I like cotton pants that don't wrinkle; something with stretch can help that.  I will also do jeans too so long as they have ample stretch.  I make sure I don't need a belt with the pants.

I layer cute, bright tees and keep a comfy light cotton jacket in case I get cold.
I never wear heals or wedges or sandals to travel.  I prefer flats that move (nothing in patent or stiff); ballet-type flats are great and slip on and off easily.

I always wear socks because of security; I can always take them off later.

I won't wear lounge-wear, shorts, or dresses, but I will change in-flight into shorts or a dress if I want it immediately after getting off the plane at my final destination.

I fly twice a week for work and unfortuntly I end up in what ever I'm wearing to work that day...sometimes I have time to change and then it's wrinkled jeans and shirts from the suitcase.

Wrap dresses are the best and I second the sock thing!

I will tell you don't wear pants with snaps or big buttons on the pockets.  I wore my truereligon jeans on a 4 hour flight and my butt was sore from those stupid buttons on the back of the jeans.
