Black Ballet Flats
Permalink Closed

I really need a new pair of black ballet flats.  I have cheapie, Payless ones, but they're about ready to bite the dust.  What do you girls think of these - anyone have any of them and can review them?

or these Rampage ones look very much like my brown Jessica Simpson ones:

ETA these Sam Edelmans:

I really like the ones from Rampage. SUPER CUTE Mary Jane strap and I love the little bit of a heel.

I tried on the first pair of Steve Maddens you posted and they were cute and comfy, just a little too flat for me. My feet are confused when they aren't in 3.5 inch heels :)

I like the first ones and the rampage ones. The rampage ones look like they would be super comfy.

I've seen the Sam Edelmans IRL and they're really cute.

i like the first steve maddens and the sam edelman pair.  the steve maddens look more formal/work appropriate, and the sam edelman's are more unusual.  both are cute!

I like the 1st Steve Madden ones best. I have seen them in person, but I haven't tried them on. They looked OK for comfort. I was just on a long black flats hunt, and it was hard b/c I am really over black ballet flats with bows. I am not sure what you need them for, but I ended up with these, and I really like them. The snakeskin pattern gives them a sort of subtle sparkle, and they are really comfortable. Not real leather, though.

oooh I really like the Sam Edelman pair. Their rubber soles are great since they make shoes so much more comfy.

Ditto.  I tried them on and they are really nice soft leather.

I really like the first SM pair, but don't get them if they are not comfy.  The Rampage pair is my second choice.  The Sam Edelman's are cute, but the shoelace is giving off a sporty vibe to me.

of the brands, i'd recommend sam edelman over any of them.  i dont care for that particular pair, but i've found them all to be very comfy.

if you want something really simple, i have 2 friends that each have about 5 pairs of Jeffrey cambell "love" flats in different colors- they wear them all the time.  this is nyc, so they must be reallly comfy.

I was about to throw that in - I wear my Jeffrey Campbell Love flats all the time - I just sprained my ankle so I've been wearing only flats for about a month now!

I've tried the SM ones on in DSW. They are pretty hard and the sole does not bend when you walk. I would skip them.
