I LOVE that outfit! Even if leggins are out, which i dont no for sure, I think thats still really cute!

i think the outfit's cute, if you want to rock the leggings i say go for it! i personally didnt opt to go for that trend but tons of girls around my school still wear them and that top would def look cute w/them...my only pet peeve is when girls wear leggings w/tops that dont cover their bum enough...i dont think leggings should be treated like pants! just my opinion.

I still like leggings, I wore them in a recent thread style pic. However, I do not think this top is really long enough to be worn with leggings, especially based on where it hit Kitty in her pic wearing that top.

I saw the top at F21 over the weekend and agree with the other girls- it's a tad short for leggings.

I think that it's still okay to wear leggings. I do agree though that they should only be worn with a top that goes down to the thighs.

I think leggings are on their way out... but I love it with that top. I don't think the top is too short (well maybe it depends on how tall you are). I would get a pair that is less pantyhose and more like stretchy pants orrr a pair of skinny black jeans/pants would work in the same way.

No offense to anyone on here that likes them, but IMO they were never back in. To quote the fabulous Tim Gunn as he mentored Michael Knight, "I hate hot pants, but they are really hot right now." That is how I felt and will always feel about them. That is based on my own personal style. Just my two cents.

I think dark leggings are cute. Also, I'd be weary of wearing too many trendy stuff at the same time (leggins, patent belt, platforms). IMO it looks like you're trying too hard. I think it would look really cute with some simple sandals or flats and maybe the belt if it doesnt make the top even shorter.

I love leggings. Leggings have helped me to work mini dresses in to my wardrobe, since my legs and thighs are not in the best condition for wearing mini dresses alone. I agree as long as the top or dress hits you below your butt or mid thigh, it works. I don't wear bright colored or print leggings, though.

I never realized all the trends I had going until you pointed that out

I think I am going to not do the leggings and just wear it with my skinny jeans or skinny black pants and maybe a less trendy belt.

I'm not a fan of leggings, but I think skinny black pants of skinny black jeans would have the same effect but look more polished.
