Beyond the obvious for this skirt
Permalink Closed

Hello. Can you help me find some ideas to pair with this pretty spring skirt (that I have not yet been able to wear because of this crazy weather) besides the obvious? The background color is a dark, cool, chocolate brown; foreground is cream. Side zipper. Here is a pic of the full skirt and the waist detail. from Limited--98/2 Cotton/Lycra lined with cotton (muslin-type fabric). TIA

I don't know what you mean by the obvious (some people's obvious might be different than others...) but I would try yellow, pale green, and lavender shades. I don't think you can do prints on top, so solid colors might be the only way to go.

The best thing for you to do is to put on some good music, light some candles smile.gif, and start trying every single shirt you have in your closet with the skirt. Don't think twice- try everything. I've done this a couple of times with items that I really loved but wasn't sure about wearing them with variety. It works!
