I bought the 3.1 Phillip Lim dress off of ebay. What do you ladies think?
I was originally going to wear this to the nighttime reception, but due to the circumstances at work, BF and I can't attend. We're only going to the morning ceremony/reception.
Is this wedding appropriate at all? My concern is the black and cream. Friends used to tell me years ago that you can't wear black/cream print dresses to weddings because it would be in poor taste. All the issues about the green dress are still concering my greatly, plus I can return that one with no problem. This one was a fair bit cheaper too ($105, compared to $148+tax for the green one)
Well, as good as this one looks on you, I still think the green one flatters you even more. If you have so many reservations about the dress, I think this one is a good alternative--it seems more your style so you would be more inclined to wear it again, and I know how much the price factor counts. I think it will be fine for the wedding.

I think this one looks great on you and you can totally wear it to the wedding. I think you should return the green dress - as great as it looks on you, you shouldn't keep something you have so many reservations about.

ITA. you look really, really great in both, so go with the one you feel most comfortable in.
I still love the green Anthro one and think it looks better for a morning wedding at Walt Disney World. But this dress looks pretty on you too, I just think it's more suited for an evening situation.
Thanks for all your opinions! I returned the green dress today. I feel much more comfortable about wearing this one since it's closer to my personal style.
(also, BF expressed concern that the green dress' material was too casual...strange, but that stuck with me.)
Are you kidding me with that dress? You look freakin' fabulous in it. (Of course it doesn't hurt that I've been lusting after that dress for ages now - the ebay search continues.) Good choice with returning the green dress. You never seemed thrilled with it anyway.
You look amazing in the PL dress. Definitely wear it to the wedding. Other than wearing a solid white dress, I don't think there are too many "nos" on wedding attire these days.
You look like you're like 5'10" in that dress. Seriously--the lines on it are so flattering and lengthening, you look super-tall. I loved the green one on you too and I don't think you could have gone wrong with it, but this one looks beautiful as well.
