Oh, it will be so worth it in the end. Haven't you all been wanting to redo the kitchen since you moved in? I'd love to see after pics when it's all said and done. How long is it gonna take?

I promise it's gonna be worth it. And I approve if you wanna milk it for all it's worth - like stop cleaning house because it's just "impossible" with the work going on. Get takeout as much as you can afford or have wine and cheese for dinner. Use paper plates instead of real dishes. Send the kids to boarding school. Etc.

Were going to remodel our kitchen soon too! In fact, we have somebody coming over today to look at it. I'm hoping it won't take long or be a huge mess when it comes time for the work.

We've been renovating since February. Take one room in your house and make it as comfortable and pretty as possible.

When one stageof the reno is done and it allows you to clean up a portion of the affected area, do it. It'll help you feel like some progress is being made.

Thanks for the support. Yes, FP - we have been wanting to do this for 3 years!
Actually - it's been three weeks now and they are almost done...just a few more finishing touches. I will post pics when it is totally finished.
