How does pink look on you? Maybe a dark pink/fushia? Something like the pinks in #3 and #9.

It would look really pretty to make the top and the skirt in the solid yellow and then use #10 or another print to make the strip at the waist. It apears from the pattern illuatration that it is a separate piece of fabric, even without the sash.
