i finally knitted a cupcake! i don't know what i'm going to do with it but i think it turned out cute well, for my first one at least. i showed this pic to a friend and she's already comissioned me to make one for her. i have this idea of packing it up in a little bakery box tied with baker's twine to give to her.
i'm feeling happy about it and just wanted to share:
That is gorgeous!!! I wish I could knit. I tried to teach myself to crochet and I started out with too hard a pattern and got discouraged. You are so talented!!!

So adorable!!! They'd look cute displayed on a cake stands/dessert dishes in the kitchen. Let me know if you decide to sell them and I may have to buy a couple
ahhh adorable! I'm especially impressed because while I've technically been crocheting for three years now, my expertise has only gone as far as to make scarves. If I'm feeling really fancy and professional, I'll add a little fringe at the end. So good job!!!

That is so cute, and would make a great play food toy for my two yr old! you could start your own business and knit all kinds of play food, i.e. strawberries, watermelon slices, apples, cheese with holes in it, hamburger, etc.!
i may have to place an order.
oh and i noticed your excellent presentation right away!
