they say they're made in spain, and it gives american sizes... I wear a 9 US and a 40 euro. if i knew the maker I might be able to figure out if they do US sizing or euro... does anyone know if anthro translates a 39 or 40 to a US 9?

I don't know the maker of these shoes, but I call Anthro fairly regularly to find out the brand of shoes, and they are usually pretty helpful. It drives me absolutely nuts that they don't show the brand on the website. It makes it so much harder to search for a better price, which I guess is probably what they want.
I bought a pair of sandals from the anthro website once that were labeled as a size 8 but they are actually a 38, which is a smidge too small. So if you need a 40, I would probably get a 10.

i would call them and find out. there's a lot of variation with euro sizes, and if they happen to be by a brazilian designer, it's a whole different story.
