Ladies who have True Religion jeans please come in!
Permalink Closed

I've been eyeing this brand lately and want to order a pair of their classic style. Which one would that be? What styles do you have and how do they compare to each other?

Also, is the fit true to size? I checked out my local Nordies and a couple of boutiques that carry them but their selection sucked so I'm relying on your opinions so that I order the right pair online.

Thanks in advance!

The most classic is the twisted seam Joey. They are the ones with the flap pockets. If you want the straight seam without flap pockets go for the Bobby. While they are usually TTS for me I would suggest trying them on because they tend to be very low rise and you will want to judge for yourself. HTH!

I agree with Farrah. Go with the twisted seam Joeys and definitely try them on first. I have two pairs of Joeys and they each fit a little different.

Also, watch for stretch and non-stretch versions. The fit will vary between these, as well.

I have the stretch Joeys in a very dark but still mildly distressed wash. The way they hug makes a girl look tiny! My booty is on the rounder side, so I went up a size to minimize the crack factor. They're still very low, but the stretch helps keep them from gapping in the waist when you go up a size. I love mine.

i have both bobbys (straight seam, plain pockets) and joeys (twisted seam, flap pockets) and love them both.

as far as rise, both are fairly low rise, def. lower than sevens i have.

the main difference i see is that the bobbys are cut slimmer through the leg. they are tight all the way down to slightly below the knee and then flare out. the joeys leg is not as slim, not tight around my knee, more of a true bootcut than a flare.

stretch vs. rigid -- i think the stretch are sooo much more comfortable, and i wear a smaller size in the stretch than in the rigid.

i would order a few pair in different sizes from someplace like revolve that does free returns (and free shipping?) (and there always seems to be a code kicking around for them)
