Black tie optional wedding ideas...
Permalink Closed

Hi,

I am going to a wedding the last weekend of April and the invitation is "black tie optional."  It's a 7pm wedding.  Looking for some ideas on what to wear...staying within the $100-$150 range for a dress...should I wear back or is that too boring?

Not sure how the weatehr will be, it's in Cleveland.  Thanks for any help in advance smile

Instead of wearing the basic black, maybe go for a navy, burgandy, or chocolate.  I love the basic black, but I'm sure that is what most women would be in.  Here are a few choices:

JS Boutique Beaded Mesh Dress JS Boutique Strapless Mesh Dress

style #2031588 available sizes: Mstyle #2031578 available sizes: S M
style #2038847 available sizes: XS/P S M L

I would check out bluefly.  They have a ton of options at great prices.

My wedding is going to be at 7:30 and it'll be black tie. I expect guests to wear long gowns and more formal cocktail dresses like this...
Nordstrom $118
Nordstrom both $158
$89 at Bluefly
$79 at bluefly
***Obviously I think it's okay to wear black.

It is from Nordstrom's.  You can can right click and go to properties and it will have a link for where the picture is.  Most of the time you can tell the store from that.  HTH!!
