i recently moved to vegas to live with my bf and to pursue my retail career. Some people might think retail sucks but I love it. I got a job at GUCCI!!! I'm super excited, its not a management position but I know I can work my way up...I get free suits, free shoes, free dry cleaning, and best of all....50% off at Gucci, YSL, and Botega Veneta!! yay! And I never thought I could make so much money being in retail so...yay again!

ohh yea....just wanted your opinion ladies....was it a smart decision for my to turn down a management position for BCBG and take the sales position at Gucci and work my way up?? should I have taken the manager job at BCBG???

it sounds like you're happy at Gucci, and if you have a real chance to move up it's worth it. You sound like you're really loving everything now - don't second guess yourself!

Being that you are in Vegas-stay at Gucci-people drop big money in Vegas so you should do well (do you get bonuses or commission?)...plus, you'll have a killer wardrobe which is needed in Las Vegas...!!!

Thats great. I think Gucci was an excellent choice. In the long run you'll be happy you went with the lower position...although I'm sure you're more than happy already!!
