I gotta make four (one for each of my 3 boys and one for hubby)...So far I have:
12 year-old son: -Ipod Nano armband -Original Penguin shirt I got on sale at Urban Outfitters
5 year-old son: -Office supplies from Office Max (his favorite store!!) -A few little t-shirts from the Gap
3 year-old son: -Tshirts from the Gap -That's it
Hubby- -"Rabbit Ears" antennea for our new HDTV (I always want to call it "our new HGTV"-okay, I'm a girl!)
I know I'll be buying Reeses eggs and peeps in every color...what other ideas do you have??? What are you putting in your Easter baskets??? Anyone have any cute book rec's for my little boys?
BTW-Nunzi-I love your idea-I'm gonna have to copy it!
Hmm, I never heard of putting clothing in an easter basket. When I was growing up we usually got those pre-packaged ones. Today I see them and they look so cheap. For my daughters who are now 4 and 12 months, I put together the baskets myself. I've done stuffed bunnies, chicks that peep, plastic filler eggs with little wrapped chocolates inside, and maybe a few other larger candies and some small toys. This year I got them Easter buckets and so far have gotten plastic filler eggs, chocolates, and some small toys. I'd rather not do stuffed animals this year and I am also skipping on the messy "grass" so I think some spring/summer clothes would be a great idea to put inside so the baskets aren't so empty!
