Can my shoes be saved?

DH & I went to San Diego last weekend and my shoes got ruined on Saturday night.  We walked literally for 2 hours downtown before dinner/drinks. I stepped in a couple potholes and those sidewalk tree tiles w/the holes in them and the patent heel has some major deep scratches in them and they look horrible!  This was only the 3rd time I had worn them and I absolutely love them and want to get them fixed.  The patent "skin" is still hanging on for dear life and I tried stretching down a little, Im thinking I could "glue" it back in place? For the deep scratches that took the patent right off, what can I do?  Nail polish?  Can a professional fix it?  I'm desperate!

I 'd bring them to a shoe repair shop- I've seen them perform miracles- but it can get kinda pricey depending how much damage there it is...but it may be worth it if it's an expensive pair of shoes...

It wouldn't hurt to get an estimate though...good luck!
