Carrie Bradshaw: The fact is, sometimes it's really hard to walk in a single woman's shoes. That's why we need really special ones now and then to make the walk a little more fun.
agreed. I absolutely adored it and had to have it until I scrolled down for the back. I feel like that "love bird" concept could have been done so much better....and smaller...and not on the back at all... basically I like love birds but not on this sweater
ETA: bloomie, I feel like lately when you ask for opinions I'm not nice and I say I don't like everything. I do get what you see in most things, it's just that I think the execution of the concepts could be better. I'm not trying to say I don't like your taste or anything. I just noticed that that's how I've been responding to your polls lately and I don't mean anything malicious by it

I don't take it that way at all. I appreciate your honesty. When I ask for opinions it is because there is usually something about the piece that I am a little unsure about but can't quite put my finger on. Upon a second look, the birds do look a little freaky. I think they could have been made to look a little sweeter and also a little smaller.

Hm. So cute in the front. The only way I could see this work semi-well on anyone is if it is worn by a woman who dresses vintage all the time and occasionally (perhaps accidentally) takes it to a costumey level. Maybe she's going to a Rockabilly-revival show or something. I would say that one must wear this with one's tongue in cheek. Every time I look at that sweater, I think of my friend "Fifties Tracy." That is what I call her because her style is all-1950s-all the time.
