The thread about how you found stylethread made me wonder how many people have changed their screen names as they changed from Lucky to FH to here, or just changed at ST to use a different name. I'm wondering if there are people who I think are new, but have been around for a while and I forgot that they switched user names!
I was never on lucky, but I've had this s/n the whole time I've been on here. I didn't even know you could change it...can you? I really hate mine. I think I joined at like midnight and didn't think I'd stick around long so I just made up a dumb one really quickly. My name isn't even Tara.
Or do you mean just starting over with a different ST account?

Hahahahahaha....I don't know why, but that strikes me as hillarious. I really thought your name was Tara this whole time. So if your name isn't Tara, why did you pick ttara?

I've always been ilovechoo
haha I don't know how I picked it! I used my Ebay name, because it's just what I tend to use when I can't think of a better username for a site I'm signing up for - and having the same one everywhere helps me remember them all! When I was signing up for ebay I tried a few combinations with my real name, but they were all taken. So then someone around me was talking about their friend Tara, so I tried that name with a few combinations and they were all taken. Then I added an extra "t" in front and it worked! and I've used it for a bunch of sites ever since.
Before I really got on here and I just lurked for a few days, I thought this would be a site I'd play around on for a while and then get bored with and leave, so I didn't think too hard about my username and used my old standby.
Is there a way to change my username that I'm missing? Because I really hate this dumb one. The extra t makes it sound like I'm stuttering if you try to say it aloud

I've always been the same - Lucky, FH, ST, and whatever else. I picked this screen name back in the day of free AOL hours. My high school bf said I should pick a name with blue in it b/c I had such blue eyes. (I would like to say that simply pointing out the color of my eyes wouldn't work on me as a "come on" at this point in my life but that would be untrue. I'm a sucker for noticing eye color. It's a sad, sad world in which I live.) Anyway, bluebird wasn't available and I was taking French at the time, so it wasn't altogether odd for me to add an 'e' to the end of a word, hence blubirde.
And ttara? Hahahaha! It's hilarious that Tara isn't your name. Best laugh I've had all day.
