Lucky magazine question

This is kind of a needle in a haystack, but I thought someone here might save their old Lucky magazines.  I love the "My Black Book" page near the end of the mag where they have a stylish person give their sources for various things where they live.  There was one, probably at some point in 2006, where a woman who worked at a hotel in Palm Springs (I think) was talking about going to get some stuff for the drinks they made each night at the hotel's bar at Trader Joe's, and she talked about a special drink that they make there.  There was a photo of her standing outside near the bar and/or pool. 

Does anyone remember this and want to tell me the name of the hotel that she worked at?  Extra points for the drink recipe :)

They featured O'Meara Haake in December 2005, who owns Movie Colony in Palm Springs. I just went on the website and I the decor...love mid-century modern.

Their speical drink is the "Dean Martini", which is a mix of fruit juice, sake, and vermouth in a sugar-rimmed glass. They pictured a bottle of Gekkeikan Sake next to the blurb.

Thanks so much, Lilykind!  That was exactly what I was looking for.  I was out there last weekend and drove past Movie Colony and was kind of wondering about it--it looks so tiny from the road, but it must be beautiful inside.  Thanks again--I am glad you are a packrat!
