I know, I was talking about old school games w/ coworkers and I brought up the Oregon Trail and no one knew what I was talking about! I couldn't believe it..they're all close to my age too.
I sooo remember playing Oregon Trail back in elementary school! I hated it because I always died on the way there too, but I don't remember ever dying of dysentery. I'm sure I'd remember something like that.
Farrah, you need this one because it reminds me of your Vinny avatar
I need this one because I always do this thing I saw on "The Office." I ask someone if they have their tickets yet, and they get all flustered and confused and say, "um, what tickets?" and I say "your tickets to the GUN SHOW!" and then flex my puny little arms. I'm aware I sound like I'm 12 years old. I only do it around my boyfriend and two other guy friends who I know will appreciate it...and I may have done that while I was drunk on Friday
ETA: I was always kind of a loser because I didn't play Oregon Trail. I played all kinds of other computer games, but somehow that never came into my home. And we didn't have it at school. One teacher had it on her computer in a classroom, and whoever finished their test first could play it. I never got to. And all my friends from other schools would talk about it and be aghast that I didn't understand the conversations

Oh my gosh! I loved Oregon Trail. That was the best when we were allowed to play that in computer class instead of actually having to do work. I always drowned when I was trying to ford the river or whatever the hell it was.
Travelgirl, it's sad because the orange thinks his mom is the juice, which would mean she was de-pulped and squeezed... like the orange equivalent of cremation or something!
Love the Oregon Trail shirt... I always drowned crossing the river, too.
