about a year and a half ago, i was out somewhere and left my lipgloss in my car so i used my cousin's lipgloss.  it was a cheapie from N.Y.C. that cost 2 bucks and i looooooooooved it so i went and bought a couple of tubes.  well, i have used it and kept at least 2 tubes around ever since, but now i am down to the end of my last tube and they don't make it anymore.  it is the prettiest mauvey pink and it is super shiny and really sheer and the consistancy is perfect and i am really upset.  i have been taking my tube with me everywhere and matching it up to other lipglosses trying to find a close enough match but have had no luck.  i am bummed.

have you tried ebay? Also, I could have sworn there's some site where you can buy discontinued cosmetics, or have them recreated for you. I bet if you searched makeupalley you could find it.

Aww...don't you hate discontinued makeup? Maybe try calling the company. More than a few times I've called companies and they've ended up sending me my favorite (discontinued) product because they still have some left that they won't be selling. Might as well try!

Yeah, I think there is some make-up website, where they can find you some discontinued products. I can't remember the name of it. But I do hate when that happens, find something you love, and boom. The company no longer makes it.
