Hi Ladies- just wanted to see if anyone else out there feels the same...I have been looking so forward to spring, and I'm definitely in the mood to shop, but I can't seem to find anything I like this season! I don't know if it's because all the spring stuff isn't out yet or what, but I've looked online, gone to my favorite boutiques, etc. and nada...all I see is the same old stuff...nothing feels new or exciting this season and I'm ready for a change...I can't even seem to find shoes that I like, and that's usually never a problem...

Anyone else feel the same way? And if you don't, what have you bought and where??

Me, too. My birthday is in like 3 weeks and I don't really want anything. Not only are none of the spring fashions doing it for me, I just don't feel like shopping at all. I haven't bought anything in weeks.
My current wardrobe isn't inspiring me either. I pretty much wear a different version of the same thing every day and I really don't care. What is wrong with me?

Yeah, kind of. I do have a couple of new things on my Anthro wishlist, a top and a dress that are both printed and colorful, my favorite type of clothing right now. But I haven't seen anything I like anywhere else. No cute skirts in sight, for example.


There are a few things I really need for spring, such as a pair of wide-leg pants and possibly a new coat. And I don't even know where to look.

yeah..definitely. I've found some stuff, but it seems like it takes a lot of searching to find cute things - whereas normally I can find cute stuff everywhere.

I don't know about any of you gals, but for me, the non-inspiration is in direct relation to the weather. I just can't feel excited about spring until I'm totally sure that it's actually spring. It's hard to get excited about the cute flower-printed top or the sexy sandal unless I know that I can wear them NOW or even in a couple of weeks. This time of year is so hard because the weather (at least around here) is so freaking fickle which makes for boring sweatshirt and sneaker outfits. Once it gets a little warmer, and stays warmer, I'll be much more excited about new shoes and new pants and new tops and new new new.

There's nothing I want for like, the past year. Which stinks, because two springs ago I loved everything I saw, and didn't have the money or need to buy it. Now I have a little more money and have gained weight so I need and can afford a new wardrobe, and there is nothing I want!

I totally agree.  I have a couple of events coming up in April and I am looking for a couple of cute new spring skirts (I'd love dresses, but I'm a tough fit) and I can't find a thing...

Yeah, for me it's about the weather too- it's finally REALLY starting to feel like Spring and I can't wait to get new stuff- it's been so long since I've been shopping!  I going to head to Lord and Taylor this weekend- they always have the best dresses and shoes!

I agree. I found some really pretty dresses yesterday...but then thought when am I going to be able to wear them? I might just get them bc by the time its really warm, theyll be gone.

Me too! For the past few seasons, I haven't been very excited about any of the clothes, but this season, I'm seeing tons of stuff I like.
