Hi girls! So, being indecisive as usual -- can you help me decide which color of these shoes to buy? I'll be wearing them all spring/summer, esp. with skirts and cropped pants. The black is obviously basic and would go with everything, and I don't have a black pair of espadrilles in my closet. The "metallic bark" color was my initial favorite, but is it as versatile? Is it cool -- or too flashy? FYI, I already have a similar pair in plain brown from last summer and I wore them constantly!
First- I really like the shoe itself, the look is very classic.
Color wise, I think the bronze is much more of a neutral for spring and summer colors than black, IMO. A lot of times, I think very bright florals, stripes, patterns in general as well as softer pastels just don't look right with black. So, I think the bronze is actually much more versatile than the black for the warmer seasons. However, I don't really know what your own personal style is and maybe your wardrobe tends not to be the shades/pattersn I mentioned above which would negate my whole post.

i agree with relrel on metallic bark (darker colors just seem heavier in the spring/summer). i don't think the color's flashy at all, and it's just as versatile as any brown or black!
o my gosh i love both!!!!!! i think the metallic is a little more fun though, however you may be able to wear the black more. (I think im gunna order these!)

Get the metallic bark! Those were the ones you wanted originally and I love the color. I agree w/relrel that they'd actually be more versatile than the black. With your wardrobe, I know you'll get tons of use out of the bronze
