I'm finding out that I really don't like wearing my g-strings or even the wider version of them cause it can feel uncomfortabel to me when I start to sweat a lot. I'm thinking I'll start wearing the bikini version but I really hate to show panty lines out in public. Any suggestions?
Well, this may be TMI, but I don't wear any. All of my workout pants have built in liners, so it works out well. Marika makes some nice, affordable workout pants, as does Danskin.
Like, kmd, some of my pants are lined well enough and wick away sweat (Nike) that I don't have to wear any, but the ones I do have to wear underwear with, I usually wear Underarmour thongs or boy shorts.

I just wear regular cotten panties like hanes that come in bags. But I don't wear anything tight when I work out, so I don't have to worry about panty lines.

I wear regular underwear and running shorts. I actually don't think I've ever worked out in a thong. When I work out, I'm far more concerned about my love handles and lower abs looking flabby. sigh

Ha. Me too.... I'm a cotton panty with running shorts type girl. The times I have forgotten regular underwear in my gym bag and have had to wear the thongs I wore to work, I was uncomfortable and miserable the whole time.

What is unsanitary about it?
well since you move around a lot when you wear them that is is possible for bacteria from your bottom to go to the front. But that can also happen with regular wear. I have nothing against thongs I wear them all the time, but not when I work out.

I've heard this, too. I've heard a lot of bad things about thongs + bacteria in general.
