I know most of us will say "buy what you love no matter what the trend".. but honestly Are handbags with Studs completely over?

The Kooba Ada in black is calling my name and its on sale for $400. But I dont want a bag that screams "last season". Has the studding trend gone away for good? Does anyone have the Ada and can review?

Please help!

I hope not! I don't have a studded bag, but a wallet which I purchased a few months ago. I like it, so whatever!

Do you have a picture? I want to say yes, it is out, but if there's very little stud, I'm sure it won't scream 'last season!'

I really like the bag...the studs are a nice touch but they don't scream dated and trendy. 

I think whether a bag screams "last season" depends on how many studs are on the bag. I don't really think bags with studded designs look current though...they feel very 2005 boho to me.

For example, this feels trendy to me.

I think the trend is over. If you like it, go for it. Personally, I was never into it - it reminded me too much of the 80's bedazzling trend.

The pic does look a little last season - smaller studs I think are still strong.  But if you love, it say who cares!
