i like the color but I'm not too into cropped jackets. It could be kind of cute with the right outfit but I think you could do better.

To me it's very reflective of Fall '06 trends, to the point where I doubt you'll want to wear it in a year. I like the color and I assume it's velvet - hence the sheen - which I like.

Its the shoulders that I don't really like. I do like the concept of a short velvet jacket and think it can be very versatile, especially in grey, but not the sloped shoulders.

i don't like the shape or the material. i'm sure you could find something cuter, and i always find that when i buy something too far in advance, i don't like it as much by the time i get to wear it so you may be better off waiting anyway
