Mayle cashmere cardigan. I hate transitional weather, but short sleeve cardigans/jackets seem to be an answer. Cute or stuffy?
3.1 Phillip Lim dress (I just want to own a pretty dress...maybe as a more conservative option for WDW nigthttime dessert reception?)
Lilly Pulitzer skirt...I'm a closet preppy girl and elephants are good luck in Thailand so I've always been fond of them. But please tell me I've lost my marbles before I own a green skirt with pink elephants on it!!!!
The cardigan is conservative but will fit well with many outfits when its a bit chilly. I would get it and in fact have a similar blue short sleeved cardigan in my closet.
The dress is fabulous and I would love to have it. I may have to e-bay search and see if they have it in an 8.
I don't like the skirt but am sure others will. I've never been a Lili fan and find many of her items are too bright and bold for my taste.
Okay, I don't like Lilly Pulitzer at all, so no help there. Her colors make my eyes hurt. But who'd have guessed you're a closet prep? *wink*
The dress I love! I think it would totally suit you.
And the sweater...first, thinking back on TS posts, I don't remember you wearing much blue. Will that sweater easily work into your current wardrobe? I understand why you are looking at it, but I think you could do better. It kind of says "matronly" to me on the hanger, though on your curves it probably will not look matronly at all. :) But maybe a little short-sleeved blazer would suit your needs better?

1. The cardigain: Like altgirl, I'm just not sure the color would fit well into your wardrobe. It also seems sorta boxy. The idea is great...just not that sweater.
2. The dress: Perfection, and on you...even better. :)
3. I love the skirt. And I think it would work really well in LA weather- a plain white tank and plain white thongs. It is a tricky skirt- you have to be careful to wear it will neutrals only.

Personally: 1. No - the color is odd (but I don't wear blue) and I find v-neck cardigans matronly. Did you see the jewelneck s/s cropped cardigans on Gap.com? Cable knit, cotton/cashmere blend, not too spendy.
2. Sure - it's very dramatic.
3. I wouldn't wear it, but I suppose someone else could look adorable in it, with a white beater and heeled sandals, say, or over a bikini. It must be possible to mitigate the screaming preppiness of it through the side dishes, right?
