i bought this suit, in black extended torso:

I really like it and think it fits well!  Its a little tight on me (i got the medium and i'm a 4/6 in mall sizes) and still a tad short in my torso, but for $37, really nice!  Quality is between Target and J. Crew. 
I still need to lose a few pounds to feel comfortable in any of my bathing suits, but this has a nice marilyn monroe vibe.  The chest area is small though- i'd say b-cup and below.
So if anyone wants to try a monokini, this is a good starting one!
