the kind that you push up and looks like giant chapstick?  I want a small splurgey cosmetic- i tried blushing bride and really liked it.  Gets good reviews on makeupalley, looked good on my face, but was curious if it was anyone's "go-to" choice.  And also if it clogged pores.

I do! I can't remember what color I'm using now, but I have tried a few. I love them. I think the color is subtle enough that most colors will work for me. It doesn't clog my pores, but I have dry skin.

I do as well; I love it! I love the dewy look it gives and the fact that I can layer it to have more or less on. I haven't had any acne problems with it either.

Oh, and I'm super impressed with its staying power....This stuff seriously lasts forever on my cheeks!

I just looked. I am currently using dollface (eta: looks scary pink in the bottle, but its really pretty and subtle). I agree with CarrieS - it lasts until you wash it off!

I LOVE Tarte Cheek stains. They don't clog pores and the stain stays on really well. I use "flush" because it replicates my natural blush the best. The "bronze goddess" one is phenomenal too.

My only complaint is that I manage to get some foundation on the applicator...it's fairly bad with Bare Escentuals, but I can wear most foundations and it's fine.

Another rave for Tarte! I have one in First Love (?) and I love it.

I have been wanting to try these too. At the risk of a hijack, can anyone recommend a true pinky shade? I want something cool toned (no orange or yellow tones) but not too dark for my skin, which is pretty pale.

I think Dollface might work. I'm fair-skinned and I use it. I bought some for a friend, too and I told the SAs her coloring (pale, light hair and eyes) and they recommended Dollface.
