The dress is made of polyester (guessing it's a jersey) and silk. Vena Cava fall '06. I found one in my size on Ebay and I'm not sure how much it's worth max. I've already discussed all fit issues with the seller and I'm very excited as the dress seems like it will fit me very well.

 

It goes really well with the rest of my wardrobe (I base my wardrobe around a browns palette and a blacks palette), but should I save the cash for more colorful (read: primary-ish bright) springy stuff?

I keep telling myself that it will look great with the bronze French Connection flat sandals in the March Lucky and my Chanel flats.

My comment was going to be that from the pic and the position of the model, you cen't tell the fit, but then I read what you wrote about it.
I really do like it, I like the colors, I think they would look really nice on you. And yes, it would be awesome with gold shoes/sandals!

I like color too but find it comforting to have a few pieces that are just easy.  I have a plain black jersey dress and can just throw it on and put a big chain over it and I look put together without worries.  If you think that this dress will work that way in your wardrobe, then buy it.  I think the style will be nice on you.  It has the band below the bust that will make the best of your curves.

I'd wear this in spring / summer even if it's not totally a "spring" look. I think it will be fabulous on you and you will rock it "Lilykind style". Definitely get it!
