It reminds me of some beautiful dresses that Nicole Miller has this season. I know she has a line at JCP, maybe this is her work? I also agree with the V but maybe its just the model.

Not really.  There is a lot in the pattern, big dark pieces.  If the pattern isn't placed just so for the cut, it can look funky.  The big dark spot in the middle of the dress looks like it doesn't belong there.  Also, it seems like the dress is a bit shiny.
