so I have been thinking about posting this for a while and with the style poll about unused/unworn clothing - I thought I'd finally post this. (maybe one day it can have it's own section on ST).

does anyone want to try a swap?  I have so much stuff that are NWT, NWOT, too big, too small, hardly ever worn, etc.  I don't really wanna ebay (I'm kinda sick of selling and thier ridiculous charges) but I would gladly post pictures and do swaps on new stuff or even just send stuff to someone who would want something. 

the idea is we could just post pictures of the things we'd like to unload (within reason that someone here would want it - nothing grotty please) and just send to each other.  I'm sure we could figure out something with the shipping costs -but if you do a direct swap with someone it would just be even?

just a thought.  let me know if anyone's interested.

This would be an interesting idea with beauty products as well. I am sure a lot of us have gotten something home (like foundation) and realized it wasn't going to work.

My best girlfriend and I do this a couple times a year.  We call it a Bitch & Swap....no boys allowed.  We alternate going to each other's house, a couple bottles of wine, a lot of bitching, and "new" clothes. 
Just 2 weeks ago I ended up getting my own sweater back - but now I love it again. 
Maybe next B&S cycle since I'm newly purged.  I mean my closet it

It can be done through Yahoo Groups.  Another fashion board has a swap group through Yahoo.

awesome idea!

would there be any way to set up some type of stylethread market? like on purseforum or honestforum (for denim) they have a marketplace where people list things they want to sell/trade...i love it!
