I recently found a few articles of clothing and went why the hell did I buy these? What have you purchased, either because it was a trend or you were just completely delusional and found later?
Mine were Leg Warmers- I'm 30 and look like a fool in them
A Leather vest- I still love it and it's by Paige but I just look like a creepy biker chick in it so I never wear it

Sadly, i probably have a ton of stuff that I've bought but haven't worn or only wore once. Luckily, none of it is expensive. Still, I need to get better about that!
I'm about the same as Kitty, only worn most of my stuff once, but I am getting better. LOL And a friend of mine gave me some black leather pants. I have NOT worn them, b/c I don't think I look good in leather pants, jackets are totally different....LOL Kitty wrote: Sadly, i probably have a ton of stuff that I've bought but haven't worn or only wore once. I purchased a pair of Loeffler Randall Emmy boots in January and they arrived the day before our trip and I was so excited to bring them with me. I went by all the recommendations online and ordered a half size up. They were on final sale.
When I tried them on, I though uh oh, they feel too big. So I decided to leave them behind until I could get back home and have more time to try them on with different tights/socks.
They still felt too big, and it is too late in the season to get what I paid on Ebay. So they sit in a hugh box in my closet mocking me. So much money tied up in something that I can't wear but love *cries*
I almost wonder if my pair is mismarked, and I'm tempted to order a pair from someplace with free shipping and returns just to test it out.
A little black dress by Geren Ford that is gorgeous, but super low cut and very short, and I will only ever wear it if I lose a million pounds and have a fancy night out on the town. Sigh. I love it, but I should never have bought it.
A pair of Merrell shoes - I bought them on sale, knowing they were a half size too small, but thinking I could make them work. Alas, they are horrendously painfult to wear, and I can't return them.
Cole Haan high heels - I bought this most gorgeous pair of brown suede 4 inch heels, but my knees and feet just can't take them. So they sit there mocking me.
Oh boy. I have quite a few things. I have 2 dresses I've never worn that my mom bought for me while she was out shopping and they were on sale and a great deal. They are cute just not exactly my thing. Same thing with 2 pairs of shoes she and my brother picked out.
For me, I have bought a few pairs of pants and skirts that were snug at the time but I swore I'd lose weight. Well I haven't and they are still in my closet waiting for that day. I've also bought a few things and have only worn them once because I didn't like them very much after that one time or because I yanked the tags off without trying them on so now I can't return them. I am the worst about that.
Got to add to my own post here. A GORGEOUS pair of Chanel quilted over the knee boots. I wore them once. They are so pretty but just not practical in my life. Ebay won't let me sell Chanel for whatever reason. So I have a ridulously expensive pair of boots. Mocking me.

I have a black jersey dress by Velvet that I bought for a party last summer. Wore it to the party and thought it looked good. After seeing it in photos I realize that it gives me no shape and I look about 15 pounds heavier in it. So now I'll never wear it again. Great.
My closet is full of 'somedays'...as in all the clothes I will someday feel confident enough to wear...they include anything even the least bit flashy and bright.

take them to a high end consigment store. They will usually offer a "buy out" and give you cash for them. You might only get $100 for them - but hey better than nothing for something your not useing!
I have a pair of Zara nude colour shoes I've never worn because when I try them on with an outfit, I wish they had normal heels instead of being wedges :(
