I have a really fair complexion. Around my nostrils I have redness that I can't seem to make disappear. Also I have a few red "scars", mostly on my chin, from healed zits. Does anyone know how I can get rid of these? Concealer never seems to quite cut it at covering them.
Any ideas?

try hydrocortisone ... my mom had a chemical peel recently and her doctor prescribed her vytone for the redness (which is basically a hydrocortisone). i've been using it on my red spots and blemishes, and it's really works to get rid of the redness and it helps my pimples go away a lot faster.

It's not a long term solution but you can always put a few drops of visine on red spots. It works temporarily.

I have the red nose as well (also very fair) and my Laura Mercier Secret Cam. concealer covers it 100%. Not sure if it will work for you but it might be worth a shot.

Visine? Really? I'll have to try that. I also have fair skin (and freckles). I really like using Aveeno products. Also, sounds like your concealer might be the wrong color. Try switching to see if you have better results. I like Neutrogena's concealer. I don't know what it's called, but it comes in one of those click tube things.

Also, I like Physician's Formula. The make products to cover redness. It's all the stuff they make in Green.

Have you also tried seeing a dermatologist? Maybe you have a skin condition?
