I am in a MAJOR shoe rut right now. I was wondering what people wear when they are out and about ( running errands, shopping, etc.)....I just moved to Montana from AZ where I wore flip flops year round, and here it is either cold and snowy or wet and slushy. I have been getting by with a pair of michael kors ballet flats, with a mocc bottom, and they are ruined now. ( duh haha) I really need some advice :) I have birks ( clogs), but I always feel so sloppy when I wear them...especially with my wool coat! However, I live in an area where "style" isn't exactly the same as it is in other regions hehe. ...so maybe birks would be just fine. I need to get a pair of casual shoes to get me through the rest of the winter until SANDAL season ( wooohoooo) any ideas??????? Sorry to ramble on such a simple subject, but I need some help!!

When I'm out and about, I normally wear either one of two things: one being comfy, non-athletic sneakers like these Pumas: or some cute flats like these:
I'm in NC, though, and it's relatively warm here, so it's pretty easy to get away with these. Seeing as though you've already said your flats were ruined by the weather, though, I'd probably invest in some cute, colorful Pumas or some flat boots like these (for the cold):
If there is snow on the ground I'm still wearing my UGGS fashion be damned I won't have cold feet. When it's not snowy/wet I wear pumas or ballet flats or flat boots example

I have been living in my wellies for months now. On days when it is not wet or snowy yet still bitterly cold, I have been wearing my Uggs (I find these have no traction) and my $7 Target fake sheepskin slippers. Yes, I have been reduced to wearing slippers outside. I refuse to ruin another pair of shoes.
