I dont know if you can really see this, its the "hillside tunic" from american eagle. I just bought a pair of wide legged jeans from gap and i'm wondering if i can pull off this tunic this time of year. Or do you think its more of a summer shirt?

I think it would look great with a chunky sweater, or layered over a turtleneck. What is the material like? I'm looking for tops like that myself this spring :)
100% cotton, sheer, and very comfortable. I love it. thanks for your ideas

To me, it is more of a summer shirt. The sheer cotton screams warm weather, even if you layer it. I picture it as a coverup over a bikini. Maybe thats just me though.
I think it would look really cute layered over a turtleneck. I have a similar shirt that I wear with a turtleneck in the winter. I'm a big fan of floaty, summery fabrics with turtlenecks in the winter b/c I really don't like to wear sweaters unless I absolutely have to.
I'm with Xtina on this one. That style, plus the fabric, plus the color, reads "summer" to me. I don't think layernig it over a turtleneck will make it look winter-appropriate.

tritto. for me there are just some things that aren't meant to be winterized. I think the combo of color and fabric (like atlgirl said) make it one of those things.
