I like my ankle boots with trousers or jeans still.  I don't really have the body to wear them w/ skirts/dresses, so I passed on that part of the trend.

I intend to still wear mine this coming fall with tights and pencil skirts...kind of like pumps. I didn't get enough use out of them, and will continue to occaisonally wear them.

I have them in black too and wore them a ton in December.  I got a ton of compliments, I mainly wore them w/skirts and a sweater dress.  I wanted to lose a couple pounds b4 wearing them w/skinny jeans, but it never happened   It's not that I dont want to wear them anymore, just the weather in Cali hasnt let me wear them as much as I thought I would.

Booties?  I wear them constantly - I have a black 9 West pair I wear to death, under pants, and a brown pair I get major compliments on every single time I wear them, even from guys!

Never embraced the trend myself.

Pretty cute on the right girl and worn with tights, but I really dont like the look with bare legs. I think it chops the leg in half and makes you look fat.
