Okay this might be a weird questions, but this is a fashion forum after all :) 
What exactly makes a bag east/west style? 
Can someone show me?  I tried google but all the bags looked different to me.

I think east/west means that it is shaped rectangular with the short sides vertical and the long sides horizontal.   North/south would have the longer sides vertical and the short sides horizontal.   Does that make sense?
