7 for all mankind question...

I found a pair on eBay that I really like. I'm just curious what experience anyone's had with the sizing of sevens. I have a pair of the "lowrise bootcut" style, which is 98% cotton and 2% polyurethane. I think that means they are stretch, and if they are not, then they still stretch a fair bit after wearing. The ones I have are a size 27, and the ones I've found are a size 26. I asked the seller if they are rigid denim, and she said yes.

What do you think? Will they work for me? I really don't want to be disappointed...

I don't think it will work.

I'm a 27 in stretch (the 98% cotton/2% polyurethane) and I wear a 28 in the rigid (100% cotton) denim. I wouldn't risk a 26 in rigid denim.

While I'm no where near a size 26. I find that my regular size (in a non stretch) will absolutely not work. Even if a I grease my thunder thighs lol.

*sigh* I think you are right. I was thinking maybe since the 27s end up being so loose on my after awhile, that I could do the 26s, but I think all that means is that I would probably need a 27 in rigid. Oh well, there's so many sevens on eBay all the time, I'm sure I will find some soon. Thanks!

Totally agree - If you're a 27 stretch, you'd be a 28 rigid. Be careful of fakes on ebay!!

SOOOOOOO much fake denim on ebay, I wouldn't risk it.  Get them at TJ Maxx or Marshalls or the Rack.  Anywhere you can touch them first.

Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of TJ Maxx/Marshall's/The Rack... I'm Canada

I guess I will just have to pay full price or find them on sale!

Definetly keep your eyes open on the web.  Nordstrom just had a few on sale and saks usually will put them on sale different times of the year.  Sometimes shopbop will too.
