Hubby and I are going on a beach vacation and he wanted to get some sandals that are not Tevas.  When I think of men and sandals, the image that jumps into my head is something like these closed-toed sandals with a pair of white socks pulled up to the knees.   To Boot New York 'Athens' Sandal
 
Can you guys recommend some fashionable mens' sandals?  Also, are sandals appropriate to wear at nice resort restaurants?  This will be Hubby's first sandal purchase in probably 7 or 8 years.  TIA!

Is there an opposition to just plain thong sandals? I think those usually look the best on guys.

I love mens cobian leather flip flops. They look great on, and my hubby says they are very comfy to walk in.

I agree - these look good on guys - and Quicksilver are really comfortable.

My BF has a really hard time finding sandals that he likes, but I bought this pair for him before our trip to Cancun and he totally s them. The best part is that they look great with shorts, designer jeans, and his cool resort white pants. HTH!
