good dermatologist in NYC?
Permalink Closed

I thought this had been discussed already, but tried searching and didn't find anything...

Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist in New York City?  I think I'm developing rosacea.  The east side is preferable because I live in Queens, but please share any suggestions all the same!

I feel like derms are notorious for having the worst bed-side manner.

That said.. my derm isn't the chitchatty type but I feel like she is the best that I've seen.  She is at the Columbia University medical building on 60th and Madison.  PM if you want her info.

I really like the doctors at my derm's practice-- the head doctor is Dr. Jane Taylor. They're at 200 W. 57th-- not far at all from the N/R. I've seen two of the doctors there and have friends that have gone to the others, and we're all really happy with them.

Orentreich group is great.  But they are expensive and probably do not take insurance... but if I were getting Botox, I would definitely go here.
