Am I needlessly worried?

I've noticed a few changes in my breasts in the past few months and I can't help being worried. There are no lumps and no discharge but my breasts seem to behave in a way they haven't before.

The darker skin around the nipples tends to pucker asymmetrically, only on one side of the nipple, which sometimes makes the breast look really strange. And my left breast now looks a bit larger than the right one. Also, sometimes I can feel a slight prickle (not really sure how to describe it otherwise) in one of my breasts. I've never had any of these symptoms before, and I'm 34.

I was recently examined by a doctor who then referred me to a specialist, but neither of them seemed to think there was anything to worry about. Everything looked pretty normal to them. I guess my doctor noticed that I was still nervous, though, so she decided I should have a mammogram just to be on the safe side.

I'm having the mammogram in two weeks, and hopefully it turns out to be nothing. It's just that I have no idea what else could be causing the changes. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid? I feel like the more I search for information on breast symptoms, the more nervous I become.

The important thing is you are doing something about it. Try not too worry. So many people just put these things off.  Think positive thoughts and be proud of yourself for doing breast examinations, etc.

Have you lost/gained weight recently? My breasts look completely different depending on the time of the month and even just a few pounds of fluctuation can make my chest look different.

Have you started any new medication? I was surprised to learn that certain medications can cause a tingling/prickly feeling in your breasts.

I'm not on any medication, although I did start taking some vitamins a while back after my doctor recommended it to me. But I have gained some weight during this past year. I wonder if that could have something to do with it.
