So I ordered 2 of these from Target to use as nightstands for my enormous bed:
Dolce Dark Walnut Telephone Table
For $70, they are great!  I had to assemble them, of course, but it wasn't hard, and each piece ended up weighing a lot more than I thought it would... very solidly constructed, overall.

So here's what they look like in place:

I just love it... the height is perfect!  No more reaching down to turn off the lamps.

Those are so cute, we have the same one in our living room.  It's held up very well (we've had it over 2 yrs).  I'm surprised they still have them on the Target site, I'm love the entire Dolce Collection, Ive been kicking myself for not getting more pieces.

those are really pretty in person- would look great with some knobs from anthropologie (its my favorite thing to do when i get pieces from ikea/target- replace the knobs)
