San Francisco shopping close to my hotel?

I'm not really sure if this is close to your hotel but the cow hollow area has lots of cute botiques.

I stayed there about 4 years ago for a wedding. I don't remember where we shopped close by b/c we went all over. But that hotel is so nice!! and cool. You are going to love it.

IMO, SF is a really easy city to get around by food or BART. You should have TONS of options from your hotel depending on how far you want to walk. You are less than a 30 min walk from Union Square, which is were all the department stores and big chains are located.

Also, in terms of geography, SF is a really small city. You can cab over to the Castro or Haight - Ashbury from there for less than $10 (I think).

As for cool boutiques, I've honestly haven't had a lot of success finding them in SF, but I'm sure one of the girls who lives there could point you in the right direction.
